What we do

MIPCO imports Hy-Line International layer parent stock and raises it on our own farms. Our hatchery produces the female day-old chicks that Egyptian egg producers grow into laying flocks.

We mill the feed for our parent stock ourselves, so feed, farms and hatchery all stay under our own management.

Our customers are egg producers who run their farms carefully and expect exceptional results. The chick is only part of that. Rearing conditions, clean feed, health monitoring and a sound vaccination programme all count, and our technical team works on them with each customer.

Technical service that follows the flock

Hy-Line International supports MIPCO technically throughout the year. Our in-house technical service team passes those recommendations on management, nutrition and health to every customer, so flocks can reach the genetic potential of the breed.

Our technical team visits regularly, starting in the first week and continuing through the different stages of rearing and production. Every visit covers:

The management conditions on the farm
The health of the flock, with a vaccination program we recommend to suit each farm's history and epidemiological conditions
Nutrition recommendations specific to your flock

A report from the veterinarian follows every visit.

Emergency visit within 48 hours of your report.

Biosecurity and licensing

Our farms hold an Avian Influenza-free certificate.
Every farm we own or lease, and our hatchery, is licensed by the government.
All our sites follow strict biosecurity rules.

Founded by poultry specialists in 1987

MIPCO began operating in the Egyptian market in 1987. Its three founders brought together nutrition, farm management and veterinary science, the fields a layer flock depends on.

In 2027 we will mark 40 years as Hy-Line International's distributor in Egypt, the longest in the region.
